Bulgarian Spirit-Media international satellite TV channel will broadcast video clips of Ortansia's music (including an in-depth interview with her). Spirit-Media Ltd, in cooperation with Eutelsat and ITV Partner, is about to start the first international satellite TV channel of its kind devoted entirely to world, ethno and relaxation music. Spirit-Media TV will broadcast tender and beautiful relaxation music around the clock. It will broadcast via the Eutelsat satellite system, initially in Europe, Southern Africa and Northern Asia, and will be made available to the rest of the world in 2009. Ortansia's song 'Christmas is Near' from her 'Silent Heart' CD was a semi-finalist in the 2005 UK Songwriting Contest.

Ortansia's soft jazz number 'Cafe Window' from her 'Silent Heart' CD was a FINALIST in the VH1 Save the Music 'Song of the Year' Songwriting competition, Houston, Texas (jazz category) in early 2005. Ortansia was praised by the distinguished panel of judges for her 'exceptionable' songwriting skills.

The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in America's public schools by restoring music programmes in cities across the country, and assisting public awareness about the importance of music participation for the nation's youth.
